Overview:
Support patient meal service by delivering menus, assisting with meal selections, and ensuring accuracy of dietary orders. This float position also helps on the trayline, in the dishroom (porter), and with tray delivery/pick-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up menus and trays.

• Assist patients with meal selections based on diet orders.

• Enter/verify menu information in the diet system.

• Ensure tray accuracy and communicate with care units/dietitians.

• Assist on trayline and in dishroom; stock and support basic clerical tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to understand dietary terms.

• Six months dietary experience preferred.

• Able to lift 30+ lbs; follows PPE and safety procedures.
