The Occupational Therapist will work on a case load that is 50% Peds and 50% Inpatients.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
  • 50% Peds and 50% Inpatients.
  • Deliver quality therapy to help patients reach maximum functional level.
  • Care for patients of all ages: neonate to geriatric.
  • Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in inpatient and peds settings.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
  • Maintain courteous, respectful, and professional customer service.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members and departments.
  • Assist with daily operations and data collection in the medical fitness center.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Science in Allied Health Professions in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license for Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio.
  • Ability to work variable days and hours as necessary.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices across multiple settings.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and complete assigned duties efficiently.
  • Commitment to patient safety and professional standards.
