The Operations Manager is to oversee administrative, HR, and logistics functions at its growing Kansas City facility. The Office Operations Manager will be deeply involved in day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency in HR processes, inventory and supply chain management, client billing, scheduling, and overall data quality.
Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative operations, including local contract management, purchasing, filing, and office systems.
- Manage HR processes: onboarding of employees (including temps), benefits coordination, and administration of HR policies.
- Ensure accurate collection and reporting of hours
- Administer payroll functions through ADP and assist with employee relations when needed.
- Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, shipping/receiving, and communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Track and report incoming/outgoing units daily, providing updates to vendors and the accounting team for invoicing.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ordering, tracking, and quality checking vehicles and parts.
- Support supply chain activities to ensure production lines remain full and operational.
- Serve as a client-facing point of contact for order intake and status updates.
Operations Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, HR, Logistics, or a related field.
- 8–s of experience in office operations, HR, logistics, or plant administration.
- Prior experience in automotive, aerospace, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to onboard new employees
- Utilize payroll systems and assist with benefit administration
- Strong skills in invoicing, billing, and data quality management.
- Experience with supply chain coordination, inventory control, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.
- On-site presence required - 5x a week
