Outpatient Physical Therapist
Battle Creek, MI
The Outpatient Physical Therapist for a in Battle Creek, Michigan. The Physical Therapist will provide one-on-one patient care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, supporting adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and rehabilitation needs.
Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient physical therapy plans of care.
- Provide skilled 1:1 therapy services for orthopedic, neurologic, spinal, post-operative, and mobility-related conditions.
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 10 visits and support a daily census of 13.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, body mechanics, safety, and home exercise programs.
- Document care accurately in Epic and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed.
Outpatient Physical Therapist Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Ability to provide 1-on-1 patient care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Experience treating adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient/family education skills.
