The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within assigned departments, ensuring that production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role leads a team of technicians in the repair and modification of turbine engine components, applying expertise across various manufacturing disciplines. The Production Supervisor will coordinate workflow, monitor task completion, and drive continuous improvement while fostering clear communication across departments. Operating within a modern, climate-controlled facility, this position reports directly to the Production Department Manager.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within assigned departments, ensuring that production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role leads a team of technicians in the repair and modification of turbine engine components, applying expertise across various manufacturing disciplines. The Production Supervisor will coordinate workflow, monitor task completion, and drive continuous improvement while fostering clear communication across departments. Operating within a modern, climate-controlled facility, this position reports directly to the Production Department Manager.
Responsibilities
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Oversee the safety and well-being of the team in accordance with company standards
- Monitor assigned work and review completed jobs/projects to ensure adherence to work scope and company expectations
- Utilize computer software programs and applications to assign, verify, track, and monitor metrics and job assignments
- Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve desired results
- Manage personnel work hours, scheduled time off, shift schedules, and overtime to meet customer requirements
- Perform key functions such as performance reviews, employee development, accountability, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action
- Collaborate with designated trainers and department managers to guide employee development and support process improvements
- Conduct regularly scheduled department meetings, including monthly and smaller group meetings as needed
- Communicate changes that affect employees promptly
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment or aviation maintenance.
- Experience in understanding and following verbal and written instructions accurately, including the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and work scope instructions.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or experience in aviation maintenance.
- Overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment
