Production Technician/Assembler Position Overview:
We are looking for Production Technician/Assembler to join our Panelboard and Switchboard Satellite Operation. In this role, you will assemble, wire, and test electrical control equipment while ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical and electrical assembly skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Production Technician/Assembler Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using electrical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform electrical wiring and mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect and test finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and codes.
  • Monitor job progress and communicate part shortages or production issues.
  • Receive, organize, and store materials; prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Support Lean initiatives by identifying process improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in compliance with 5S and safety guidelines.
  • Cross-train and provide support in other functional areas as business needs evolve.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Production Technician/Assembler Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools
    (experience in automotive repair, construction, carpentry, or similar assembly environments will be considered).
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the work location (no relocation offered).
    Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from this limitation.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work overtime before/after shifts and on weekends as required.

Production Technician/Assembler Preferred Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Commitment to teamwork, safety, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt and flex across multiple functions.
