Production Worker Responsibilities
- Responsible for unskilled production work on a production line
- Follows instructions given by production forepersons
- Monitors production line
- Counts out and sorts material
- Packs materials into cartons
- Applies appropriate labels to cartons based on contents
- Ensures that workstation is kept in clean and safe condition
- Follows safety guidelines and regulations
- Performs other related duties assigned
Production Worker Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- On-the-job training provided
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must wear required hearing and eye protection
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time
