Pay Rate:
The Program Manager 1 will lead New Product Development (NPD) and sustaining programs for aerospace electrical interconnect products, overseeing cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer and contractual requirements. The Program Manager 1 serves as the primary customer interface, managing program performance, financials, risk, contracts, and stakeholder communications while driving successful execution throughout the product lifecycle. The Program Manager 1 will also provide executive-level program reporting and lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational and business objectives.

The Program Manager 1 will also provide executive-level program reporting and lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational and business objectives.
Program Manager 1 Responsibilities:
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) programs and sustaining engineering projects from launch through production, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and strong program financial performance
- Serve as the primary customer interface, maintaining effective communication, managing expectations, and ensuring contractual commitments are met
- Oversee customer programs, contracts, and business relationships while driving responsiveness to customer requirements
- Coordinate program management reviews and prepare performance metrics and status reports to track program health
- Monitor and manage key program metrics, including financial performance, quality, schedule, technical execution, and on-time delivery throughout all PROLaunch phases
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and customer requirements are achieved
- Manage customer contracts, pricing strategies, terms and conditions, and contract flow-down across the organization
- Develop and execute contract negotiation strategies and oversee engineering change management processes
- Provide regular program status updates to customers and executive leadership, reporting on milestones, technical issues, cost, schedule, and overall program health using Green/Yellow/Red status reporting
- Drive collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business teams to ensure successful program execution and delivery
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience of program management or project management within new product development
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience communicating with executive-level individuals
