We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join a busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Battle Creek, Michigan. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, guaranteed hours, no call, and no weekend requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience treating orthopedic and neurological patient populations and enjoy working in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on helping patients regain function and improve quality of life.
Schedule
- Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- No call requirements
- No weekend coverage required
Position Overview
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, improving function, and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based treatment approaches.
Patient Population
This clinic treats a diverse range of patients, including:
- Orthopedic conditions
- Low back pain and cervicalgia
- Post-operative spine, shoulder, hip, and knee rehabilitation
- Neurological diagnoses
- Parkinson's Disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Post-stroke rehabilitation
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Spinal cord injuries
- Cognitive disorders
- Muscular dystrophy
- Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Pelvic floor therapy patients (preferred experience, not required)
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist License
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
- Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patient populations
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Pelvic floor therapy experience preferred but not required
