QC Lab Technician will support the quality function within a dynamic manufacturing environment by performing routine and non-routine analytical testing to ensure compliance and support operations, R&D, and product development.
QC Lab Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform quality testing on incoming materials and finished goods
- Provide timely and accurate communication of test results
- Maintain laboratory systems, records, and inventory
- Support process validations, customer complaint investigations, and new product development
- Operate and maintain lab equipment (HPLC, UPLC, GC, TOC, FTIR, etc.)
- Conduct water sampling and analysis for production and cleaning validation
- Perform microbiological testing, including Rapid Method Technologies and Total Plate Count
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and hazardous waste protocols
- Facilitate and implement test methods, standards, and procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready lab and workspaces
- Participate in cross-functional teams and quality improvement initiatives
- Drive a tow motor vehicle as needed (certification required)
- Prepare and revise procedures using internal documentation systems
- May require occasional travel between Northeast Ohio campus locations
QC Lab Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No experience required, but previous lab or manufacturing experience in an FDA-regulated environment is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Willingness to work 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
