Quality Assurance Lab Technician will process agricultural samples in a quality lab.
Quality Assurance Lab Technician Responsibilities:
- Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples – ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions.
- Prioritization of analyses according to customer needs matched to capacity; organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment; obtaining analytical data; ensuring data integrity; functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner.
Quality Assurance Lab Technician Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or something related
- Three years of industry experience
- Preferred candidate will have hands-on experience with total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy, NMR, total oil analysis, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, bench-top wet chemical analyses, LIMS and the Microsoft Office Suite.
