Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support hydromechanical and electromechanical products in fabrication, assembly, and testing. This role involves on-site work and collaboration across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and customer teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Quality Assurance support for internal functions, customers, and suppliers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Customers, and Suppliers.
- Manage non-conforming material control processes, including Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- Review and approve product drawings, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), manufacturing process plans, and First Article Reports (FAIRs).
- Oversee implementation and flow-down of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into manufacturing and supply chain.
- Drive efficient processing of Customer RMAs and perform effective failure analysis.
- Support internal and customer audits of systems, processes, and products.
- Develop and implement product quality plans, PFMEAs, and control plans.
- Assist with product proof-of-build (POB) activities and process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate assembly and test process improvements and Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
- Promote adherence to Quality Management System (AS9100) and drive continuous process/product improvements.
- Maintain accurate reporting and data management to support department KPIs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive quality experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality engineering disciplines and manufacturing concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, PFMEA.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Must meet ITAR requirements; applicants must be U.S. persons (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Preferred Qualifications:
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with hydraulic/hydromechanical assembly and testing processes.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma tools.
