Quality Inspector Overview:
Performs and verifies visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental and chemical, inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures. Activities are detail oriented. Employees may be required to work overtime and travel when requested.

Quality Inspector Overview:
Performs and verifies visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental and chemical, inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures. Activities are detail oriented. Employees may be required to work overtime and travel when requested.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Reviews and approves inspection/test data
- Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures
- Interface with customer/Government source inspection personnel Maintenance of inspection records in accordance with company procedures
- Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process
- Understand and support the Quality Management System
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must communicate (read and write) in English
- Must use basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Basic four function mathematics, some SPC data collection
- Must not be color blind, nor noncorrectably vision impaired
- Familiarity with AS9102
- High School graduate, or equivalent
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years inspector experience Supervisory Responsibilities: AS9100B Quality System Standard
- Measuring tools
- Blueprints and G&H Drawings and Specifications
- Lock-out/Tag-out
- General safety
- HAZ-MAT
- Foreign Object Awareness
- Capable of routine manual dexterity, walking, sitting, standing, typing, bending at the neck, climbing and lifting up to twenty pounds when required.
