This role is responsible for managing administrative and transactional workflows, preparing legal documents, maintaining client files, and ensuring the efficient delivery of legal services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced professional environment.
Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Typing, producing, editing, and proofreading various legal documents and correspondence.
- Electronic time entry and billing, calendaring/scheduling, processing and managing expense reimbursements.
- Electronic client file maintenance (NetDocs).
- Overall assistance with transactional legal processes and procedures.
Legal Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- 3+ years legal/law firm experience.
- Experience in either the franchise or real estate areas of law is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe are required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be resourceful and efficient in handling high volume priorities.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational, proofreading, and customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
