The Respiratory Therapist role provides specialized care across a wide range of critical and acute care settings. This position offers the opportunity to work in advanced units, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide life-saving respiratory support to patients of all ages.
Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care in one or more of the following areas:
- Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital: Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Cardiac ICU, Tracheostomy/Ventilator Unit, Emergency Room, General Respiratory Care
- MacDonald Women’s Hospital: Women’s Respiratory Care, High-Risk Delivery
- Perform respiratory therapy procedures, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, and NBRC.
- 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
