The Senior Philanthropic Advisor will work for a Cleveland based nonprofit organization that focuses historic preservation.
Senior Philanthropic Advisor Responsibilities:
- Establishing the major gifts program.
- Support the Director of Development.
- Develop donor engagement.
- Working with the Board of Directors and executive staff, philanthropy partners, and consultants to develop strategies, policies, and procedures to effectively launch and operate the fund
- Creating donor and partner communication tools that tell the compelling story of the cultural and community impact of these historic institutions.
Senior Philanthropic Advisor Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of major gifts fundraising experience.
- Experience in the planning or execution of fundraising campaigns.
- Track record of securing major gifts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Cleveland's philanthropic community.
- A passion for historic preservation.
