The Sensory and Consumer Experience Team partners with R&D stakeholders to develop sensory and consumer research strategies. The Sensory Operations Analyst coordinates Sensory Operations and manages logistical details for Consumer Testing.
Sensory Operations Analyst Responsibilities
- Coordinate & plan Sensory Operations harmonization across the Americas (including methods, lexicon, practices & ways of working)
- Execute Sensory Operations Capability projects
- Partner with Category Sensory Scientists to understand sensory & consumer testing needs
- Ensure accurate documentation of test goals, objectives, test design & testing procedures
- Communicate test schedule to R&D stakeholders to ensure required testing materials are ready on time
- Ensure test results are delivered to Category Sensory Scientist with preliminary recommendations; attend project meetings to share results with R&D when needed to support Category Scientist
Sensory Operations Analyst Required Skills:
- Strong math skills
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office – including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
Sensory Operations Analyst Essential Job Requirements
- High School Diploma, some college preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years quality experience which includes:
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) – accurate data recording, proper labeling, clean workspaces, and following test protocols
- Test Method Validation – making sure the test methods measure what they are supposed to
- Documentation & Traceability – keeping clear, complete records so results can be replicated or audited
- Calibration & Maintenance – keeping equipment properly maintained and calibrated
- Compliance – meeting industry standards, safety rules, and regulatory requirements
- Data Integrity – ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and secure
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and flexible to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently, as well as in multi-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
