Position Summary:
As Senior IT Apps Programmer, you will develop high-quality, cost-effective information technology solutions for business related problems by creating and maintaining software programs, components or applications. Performs development testing activities and documents how the software was developed and will be maintained. Supports systems or applications in a production environment. Acts as a subject matter expert or escalation point on various technology topics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing requirements for software programs
  • Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications
  • Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development – TDD)
  • Creating and maintaining documentation
  • Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions.

Required Skills:
  • We are adding security to existing applications, at times requiring us to back out prior encryption tools and convert to SQL AE.
  • These are backend developers and would be working primarily in C# and VB.
  • SQL AE experience
    • Comfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)
    • Schema analysis and remediation for encryption compatibility
  • Application Security Expertise
    • Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
    • Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
    • Encryption Implementation
    • Hands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption Familiarity with key management and integration with enterprise security tools
    • Data-Driven Inquiry
    • Demonstrates ability to analyze data and formulate meaningful questions
    • Brings insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-making
      Education And/Or Required:
      • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
      • In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of four years related work experience.
      • In lieu of the above, a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
