The Sr. AWS Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure system quality and reliability. They will develop and maintain automated test scripts, perform risk analysis, and collaborate closely with project teams to identify, communicate, and resolve issues. Work is heavily focused on testing specifically for applications deployed on AWS.

The Sr. AWS Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure system quality and reliability. They will develop and maintain automated test scripts, perform risk analysis, and collaborate closely with project teams to identify, communicate, and resolve issues. Work is heavily focused on testing specifically for applications deployed on AWS.
Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases for applications deployed on AWS
- Validate and Test integrations with AWS services including S3 Buckets, SQS Queues, SNS Notifications and Lamda Functions
- Perform data validations with NO SQL databases such as MongoDB
- Participate in Sprint planning, Requirement review, Test reviews, Test debrief, Defect Triage Meetings
- Work within Agile sprints to support continuous integration and deployment workflows
- Hands-on Testing Experience with AWS services
- S3: Testing File storage, retrieval, permissions
- SQS: Verifying message Queues and processing
- SNS: Validating notifications and subscription triggers
- Lamda: Testing event driven functions and Integrations
- Experience with API Testing: Proficient in testing APIs using tools like Postman and hands-on experience working with Swagger (OpenAPI)
- Strong understanding of Risk-based testing Techniques
- Data validation with NoSQL DB/MongoDB Skills: Ability to search, query, and manipulate test data in MongoDB
- Understanding of event driven architecture, REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for Test case management/ execution, Bug Tracking and traceability
- Quick learner with Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum 4 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
- In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
- In lieu of the above, a minimum of 6 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
