Overview
For this contractor assignment, as an IT Software Dev Test Senior on a Commercial Lines Small Business Automation team, you'll work on developing, maintaining, and running our automation test suite to account for various features and revisions supporting the business.
Day to Day Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using C# and .NET.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define test requirements and strategies.
• Write and execute automated tests using Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop test scripts and utilities in TypeScript or JavaScript as needed.
• Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Document test processes, results, and best practices.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in C# and .NET development for test automation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with SpecFlow or Reqnroll
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation.
Education And/Or Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
- {OR} the completion of a technical training program and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
- {OR} Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
