Test Engineer Overview:
Seeking a Manufacturing Software Test Engineer to develop and support manufacturing test systems for electronics products. This role works across software, hardware, and systems engineering, supporting updates to existing products and collaborating with global teams.
Test Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test safety-critical and security-critical manufacturing test systems.
- Work with a mix of commercial and custom hardware/software platforms.
- Build manufacturing test software using C#, C++, and Python.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle.
- Support an Agile/SAFe team and collaborate with global stakeholders.
- Provide Tier 2 support for test equipment in production.
Test Engineer Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in software development for hardware-integrated systems.
- Ability to read electronic schematics.
- Strong communication skills.
Test Engineer Preferred Skills:
- Object-oriented programming (C#, C++, Python).
- Hardware–software integration (I2C, SPI, CIP).
- Windows development, unit testing, CI/CD, Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware and mechanical design concepts.
- TestStand and hardware-software system testing.
- Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps); experience with distributed teams.
Travel: Up to 10%.
