Training and Development Specialist

The Training and Development Specialist will lead the creation, coordination, and implementation of training programs for our global channel partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a creative approach to learning design, and a solid background in sales training, design, and industrial controls.

Training and Development Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Leaders to identify and define training requirements for channel partners.

  • Develop and implement global selling skills training programs for partners.

  • Coordinate and deliver timely product training by working closely with product line specialists.

  • Regularly update and enhance training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Manage a digital repository of training content to ensure accessibility for partners and internal managers.

  • Deploy and manage training modules through the internal learning portal, including tracking of training assignments and credits.

  • Organize and oversee annual “University Weeks,” including registration management and partner engagement.

  • Conduct regular surveys to gather feedback, assess training effectiveness, and identify new training needs.

Training and Development Specialist Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university (Graphic Design or related field preferred).

  • Minimum of 7 years of full-time professional design experience (beyond freelance work).

  • Proven experience in sales training, partner enablement, or training operations.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design layout, brand identity, packaging, and prototyping.

  • Industrial Controls Engineering experience (7+ years) with prior experience as a classroom instructor preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
