Hunter Recruiting Ranks No. 2 on Crain’s List of Northeast Ohio’s Largest Women-Owned Businesses

Avon-based staffing and recruiting firm climbs six spots following 41% workforce growth

AVON, Ohio, October 2026 – Hunter Recruiting, a woman-owned staffing and recruiting firm headquartered in Avon, Ohio, has been named the No. 2 largest women-owned business in Northeast Ohio by Crain’s Cleveland Business, climbing six spots from its No. 8 ranking in 2025.

The annual Crain’s ranking recognizes the region’s largest women-owned businesses based on local full-time-equivalent employment. Hunter Recruiting grew its Ohio headcount by 41% over the past year to more than 186 employees, reflecting the company’s continued expansion as a national provider of specialized staffing and recruiting solutions. In the weeks following the report, Hunter has grown to 300 Ohio employees and 420 total employees nationwide.
