Medical Affairs Writer

The Medical Affairs Writer will support the US Medical Affairs team with medical writing, training coordination, compliance tracking, contract administration, and department-level administrative support. This role will work closely with Medical Directors, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to help maintain accurate documentation, support scientific communications, and ensure required processes are completed efficiently.

This role will work closely with Medical Directors, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to help maintain accurate documentation, support scientific communications, and ensure required processes are completed efficiently.
Medical Affairs Writer Responsibilities:
- Perform medical writing and research to support scientific publications, medical training programs, promotional material review, internal publication clearance, and other medical affairs documents.
- Support local medical governance activities, including compliance tracking, standard operating procedure updates, and rollout of compliance-related requirements.
- Coordinate medical inquiries, product or medical research activities, fellowship programs, and related department initiatives.
- Oversee and administer department contracts and purchase orders with scientific thought leaders, healthcare providers, vendors, clinical study sites, advisory boards, and other partners.
- Assist with agenda setting, scheduling, and team coordination to support performance excellence, capability building, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate fair market value assessments and help ensure contractual compliance by coordinating with Procurement and Legal teams.
- Provide additional administrative support to the Medical Affairs team as needed.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in a biomedical science discipline such as pharmacology, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, or medical sciences.
- One or more years of experience in a biomedical setting is preferred.
