Senior Quality Engineer

The Senior Quality Engineer will support the production of precision pressure sensors used in commercial, military, and space applications. This is a hands-on quality role supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle, including supplier quality, production, testing, final acceptance, corrective actions, customer support, and regulatory compliance.
Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality systems.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, and continuous-improvement efforts.
  • Support supplier quality activities, including purchase-order review, supplier corrective actions, and nonconforming material resolution.
  • Participate in MRB activities and help determine disposition of discrepant material.
  • Review technical data, drawings, specifications, test results, and quality documentation.
  • Support internal audits, product audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.
  • Serve as a quality contact for customers, suppliers, and government agencies, including the FAA and DCMA.
  • Develop quality-related training materials and provide guidance to inspection and production personnel.
Senior Quality Engineer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, technical, or quality role.
  • Experience with quality systems, inspection/testing, measurement systems, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and nonconforming material.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR requirements.
