SHE Support Technician

The SHE Support Technician will provide general clerical and administrative support for safety, health, and environmental activities under direct supervision and within established procedures. This role supports the EHS&S team with documentation, inspections, equipment-related activities, and hazardous waste handling. The position may also collect field data and maintain or operate safety equipment in the field.

This role supports the EHS&S team with documentation, inspections, equipment-related activities, and hazardous waste handling. The position may also collect field data and maintain or operate safety equipment in the field.
SHE Support Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide general clerical and administrative support for safety, health, and environmental activities using established procedures.
- Support the EHS&S team with permits, inspections, documentation, and equipment calibration or certification using established processes and procedures.
- Collect field data and maintain or operate safety equipment in the field as assigned.
- Assist with the characterization, collection, transport, and creation of profiles for regulated and non-regulated hazardous waste.
- Assist with the final preparation and approval of all projects before shipment in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies.
- Verify that drum counts are correct and drum conditions are suitable for shipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, are required.
- Must be able to remain on your feet and walk for most of the workday.
- Must be able to routinely lift 20–30 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push and pull carts containing materials.
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals and in a laboratory environment.
- One or more years of hazardous waste handling experience is a plus, but is not required.
- One or more years of chemical or laboratory experience is a plus, but is not required.
