Cleanroom Technician
Location: Aurora, OH
Pay:
Contract: 1 year
Schedule: 3:00PM-11:30PM

The Cleanroom Technician will support production operations in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment by safely weighing, filling, packaging, labeling, and documenting chemical or bulk product manufacturing activities. This role requires strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, cGMP guidelines, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards while working collaboratively with production team members.
Cleanroom Technician Responsibilities:
  • Work safely within company work instructions, cleanroom protocols, cGMP requirements, and established policies.
  • Weigh and fill chemicals or bulk products according to Production Work Orders while maintaining quality and quantity expectations.
  • Operate production scales, including required verifications and calibrations.
  • Set up, operate, clean, and maintain production equipment such as automatic heat sealers, electronic floor scales, pumps, crushers, auger filling units, autoclave units, vibrating fillers, induction sealing equipment, portable exhaust hoods, and related equipment.
  • Package finished products for shipping, including boxing, labeling, and preparing materials according to work instructions.
  • Handle hazardous materials using required safety gear and follow all applicable safety procedures.
  • Sweep and mop floors, clean workstations after each product filling, and help maintain a compliant cleanroom environment.
  • Complete documentation legibly, accurately, and in accordance with review and verification requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, follow appropriate change control procedures, and promote a “build it right the first time” mindset.
  • Work as a team player by supporting co-workers and performing other duties as assigned.
Cleanroom Technician Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • 0–2 years of equivalent production experience in a cleanroom environment is required.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and knowledge of Lean manufacturing are preferred.
  • Must be able to follow cleanroom protocols, site procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
  • Basic computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office proficiency with Word and Excel.
  • Must be flexible, motivated, forward-thinking, able to act independently, and able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
