This role serves as a strategic partner to attorneys, leadership, and internal stakeholders by helping identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, enhance market visibility, and execute targeted marketing programs.
(Hybrid) Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, market positioning, and client engagement.
- Monitor industry, market, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic insights.
- Develop and coordinate marketing materials, communications, newsletters, presentations, and other promotional content.
- Assist with proposals, RFP responses, pitch materials, and other business development efforts.
- Plan and execute client-facing and internal events, including webinars, conferences, sponsorships, and networking programs.
- Manage event logistics, communications, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain marketing and business development databases, records, and resources.
- Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, and market developments to support strategic decision-making.
- Support onboarding and integration activities for new professionals.
- Collaborate with practice groups, industry teams, and internal stakeholders to advance firmwide marketing and growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Four or more years of experience in marketing, business development, client engagement, communications, or a comparable professional services environment.
- Experience supporting client development efforts, proposal creation, and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrated success coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders and departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new business and marketing technologies.
- Experience with CRM, proposal management, relationship intelligence, or marketing automation platforms is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting attorneys, consultants, accountants, healthcare professionals, or other client-service-focused professionals is preferred.
- Familiarity with professional services marketing and business development best practices are highly desirable.
