PRN Pharmacist
Broward & Palm Beach, FL
The Pharmacist will provide as-needed pharmacy coverage across 4 locations in Broward and Palm Beach, Florida. The Pharmacist will compound and dispense medications, verify prescriptions, maintain required records, counsel patients, and support clinic providers and pharmacy technicians. This assignment is expected to run for a minimum of three months, with coverage needed approximately three to four days per week in September and continuing on an as-needed basis after that.

Pharmacist Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmacist coverage when needed due to staffing needs, absences, or increased workload across assigned pharmacy locations.
- Compound, fill, dispense, and verify prescriptions while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and compliance with applicable pharmacy requirements.
- Prepare and maintain required records related to prescriptions, patient charges, inventory, and pharmacy operations.
- Counsel patients and provide information to staff members regarding drugs, pharmaceuticals, and medication-related questions.
- Collaborate with providers, clinic staff, and pharmacy technicians to support patient care and improve consumer experiences.
- Work independently on moderately complex to complex assignments, exercising sound judgment in determining technical approaches and daily priorities.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- An active pharmacist license in Florida is required, along with the ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
- Must reside in the area and be willing to travel to 4 locations as needed.
- The ideal candidate will be self-directed, accurate, highly productive, and comfortable solving problems in partnership with others.
- Candidates should be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Three or more years of pharmacy experience is preferred, and candidates must be able to lift and move up to 15 lbs.
