Wire Harness Fabrication Associate Job Description
A Wire Harness Fabrication Associate will fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and requestor specifications. Measure, cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires using hand tools and specialized equipment. Route and bundle wires, install connectors, labels, heat shrink tubing, and protective sleeves to ensure proper fit and function. Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and quality inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and production requirements. Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot wiring issues and identify solutions.??

A Wire Harness Fabrication Associate will fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and requestor specifications. Wire Harness Fabrication Responsibilities ?
- Fabricate prototype automotive-type wire harnesses assemblies, including soldering and crimping.
- Vehicle installation of wire harnesses and overlays.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal descriptions.
- Wire harness inspection.
- Learn proper and efficient operation of wire harness fabrication equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment.
- General labor around facility & other tasks as assigned.
- Vehicle-level electrical system troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Able to read automotive vehicle electrical schematics.
- Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.
- Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices.
- Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.
- Basic MS Office knowledge
