Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) Engineer

Pay:
The Hardware-In-Loop Engineer will set up, develop, integrate, and maintain real-time test systems used to validate mission-critical embedded hardware and software systems. The HIL Engineer will design HIL test environments, execute automated and manual verification activities, troubleshoot hardware and software interfaces, and ensure system performance meets strict quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements.

Hardware-In-Loop Engineer Responsibilities:
- Set up, integrate, maintain, and validate HIL test systems
- Work closely with controls, firmware, system, and hardware engineering teams
- Develop HIL models, configure test environments, and automate test execution
- Support product verification activities throughout the development lifecycle
- Integrate hardware components such as ECUs, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues
- Analyze test results and identify the root cause of failures
- Document test procedures and validation results
- Experience with HIL platforms
- Experience automating testing
- Experience with hardware and software integration
