IT Project Manager Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering cybersecurity projects across multiple cybersecurity teams. This role, as a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory team, provides project oversight and ensures projects meet established requirements, standards, timelines, and objectives. The position manages project risks, issues, changes, and escalations while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of project management experience, strong cybersecurity knowledge, excellent communication skills, and PMP certification.
 IT Project Manager Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through successful completion.
  • Coordinate projects across multiple cybersecurity teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project requirements, standards, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage project change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Escalate project issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cybersecurity teams.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established project management processes and standards.
  • Support the successful delivery of cybersecurity initiatives and organizational objectives.
IT Project Manager Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity or information security projects.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and project environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, risks, issues, and changes.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
