The Sample Preparation Technician will support a high-throughput analytical process by accurately weighing and extracting samples in an office-based laboratory setting in the Chesterfield area. This onsite role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy. The work is straightforward but must be completed precisely and in accordance with applicable safety and PPE requirements.

Sample Preparation Technician Responsibilities:
- Weigh and extract samples to support a high-throughput analytical process.
- Follow established procedures carefully to ensure sample preparation work is accurate, consistent, and completed to required standards.
- Perform repetitive laboratory tasks while maintaining focus, precision, and attention to detail.
- Use basic computer skills to enter, track, or support sample-related information as needed.
- Maintain reliability, accuracy, and consistency in daily work activities.
- Work in a lab setting with mixed periods of standing and sitting throughout the shift.
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements, including wearing pants, a T-shirt with no sleeveless tops, eye protection, lab coat, applicable gloves, and hearing protection as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed to support sample preparation and laboratory workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with laboratory expectations.
- One to three years of experience is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Must be reliable, accurate, and able to handle repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail is required, as the work must be exact.
- Must be able to work onsite in the Chesterfield area from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Must be comfortable working in a lab setting with mixed periods of standing and sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
