Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects that align with strategic business objectives within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving project execution, establishing governance structures, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of complex enterprise-level programs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, advanced project management expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders while coordinating teams across multiple functions and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex, enterprise-level projects aligned with organizational strategy and business priorities
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and overall execution
  • Develop and maintain project governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
  • Provide regular executive-level reporting and updates on project status and performance
  • Mentor and support team members and engineering personnel
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project governance and operational standards
  • Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day project execution
  • Support organizational change management efforts associated with project implementation

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Experience managing large, complex enterprise initiatives
  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred
  • Aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or highly regulated industry experience preferred

Technical Competencies
  • Cross-functional leadership and team coordination
  • Strategic planning and execution alignment
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Executive stakeholder communication and reporting
  • Project risk and dependency management
  • Portfolio reporting and performance metrics
  • Organizational change management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
