Sample Prep Technician will weigh and extract samples for a high-throughput analytical process in a lab setting. This role requires someone who is reliable, accurate, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling repetitive tasks where the work must be performed exactly.
Sample Prep Technician Responsibilities:
- Weigh and extract samples to support high-throughput analytical processes.
- Perform routine sample preparation activities accurately and consistently.
- Follow established laboratory procedures and ensure tasks are completed exactly as required.
- Handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Use basic computer skills to support sample tracking, documentation, and related lab activities.
Sample Prep Technician Requirements:
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be reliable, accurate, and able to complete repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
- PPE requirements include pants, eye protection, lab coat, applicable gloves including nitrile, cut-proof, and dry-ice gloves, and hearing protection as needed.
- Working conditions include mixed periods of standing and sitting in a lab setting.
- Some lifting required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
