Machine Operator II

The Machine Operator operates and monitors automatic and semi-automatic production machinery while following process sheets, work instructions, and established safety procedures. Performs quality inspections, verifies products meet required tolerances, troubleshoots routine equipment issues, and works effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and internal customers to meet production goals.

Machine Operator II Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic production machinery.
- Follow process sheets, work instructions, and verbal directions to complete production assignments.
- Perform routine machine adjustments and make necessary process changes within established guidelines.
- Inspect finished products and in-process materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
- Perform measurements and quality checks using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
- Monitor machine operation for proper performance and identify deviations from established procedures.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and internal customers regarding production requirements and issues.
- Troubleshoot routine operating problems and escalate issues requiring additional assistance.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and process documentation as required.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing equipment experience or related experience
- Strong ability to read and understand specifications and work instructions
