Project Engineer (8-month contract)

Pay:
The Project Engineer will support the execution of capital projects within the plant. The Project Engineer will work closely with plant leadership and engineering teams to assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of infrastructure-related projects. The Project Engineer will provide additional engineering support during a defined period of increased project activity.

Pay:
The Project Engineer will support the execution of capital projects within the plant. The Project Engineer will work closely with plant leadership and engineering teams to assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of infrastructure-related projects. The Project Engineer will provide additional engineering support during a defined period of increased project activity.
Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Support the execution of capital projects, including scope development, layout reviews, and implementation activities
- Develop, review, and update drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and execution
- Assist with coordination across disciplines related to plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
- Participate in site walks, equipment layouts, and installation planning
- Support documentation, tracking, and reporting of capital project progress
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, contractors, and engineering resources to ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience with plant infrastructure systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
- Ability to stay organized and communicate across disciplines
- Experience supporting capital projects in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Familiar with industry safety standards and project execution practices
- Experience working in an union environment
