We are seeking a Training & Development Specialist to support the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of learning programs across our manufacturing operations as we ramp up a 2nd shift for production. This position plays a key role in ensuring employees receive the training needed to perform safely, effectively, and confidently. The successful candidate will facilitate training programs, maintain training records, analyze training effectiveness, support compliance requirements, and partner with operational leaders to build workforce capability. This position will work closely with our Learning & Development Manager and will report to the Sr. Site HR Manager.
Day Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Beginning in early 2027, this position is required to flex to also support training deployment for Second Shift operations that will run Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Most training activities will occur during the earlier portion of the second shift schedule.

Training & Development Specialist Responsibilities:
- Facilitate classroom, virtual, and hands-on training programs.
- Deliver compliance, technical, operational, and leadership development training.
- Support onboarding and workforce development initiatives.
- Coordinate training schedules, enrollment, attendance, and completion tracking.
- Manage employee training records and learning documentation through an LMS.
- Analyze training participation, completion rates, feedback, and effectiveness metrics.
- Prepare training compliance and workforce readiness reports and dashboards.
- Assist in developing and updating training materials, lesson plans, and job aids.
- Partner with HR, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to identify training needs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to training programs based on data and operational feedback.
Training & Development Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of learning, training, talent development, education, workforce development, or related experience OR Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Learning & Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field. OR At least 3 years of learning, training, workforce development, education, or related experience
- Experience facilitating training programs in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, or production environment.
- Experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience tracking and reporting training metrics.
- Experience conducting training needs assessments.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience creating training materials, job aids, and instructional content.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Experience analyzing survey data and training effectiveness metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.
