We are looking for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to design automated machine systems. Successful candidates should have hands-on experience with PLCs, machine control design, electro-mechanical devices, motors, electrical schematics, and AutoCAD.

Senior Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develop PLC software for machine control to meet defined performance requirements.
  • Develop, Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs, PLC programs, electrical distribution, relay logic, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control.
  • Design electrical controls for machines to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop electrical schematics.
  • Drive and support productivity and operator experience improvement with changes to programming, equipment, and or HMI screens.
  • Interface with customers and sales to define project requirements.
  • Work with our Sales team to develop project estimates
  • Meet required timing for engineering design release
  • Provide Technical Support for customers, manufacturing, sales, and field service.
Senior Electrical Controls Engineer Qualifications:
  • B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ electrical controls experience in a similar role
  • Motion control, robotics, machining and automation experience, PLC Programming experience.
  • HMI programming experience; Visual Studio, JavaScript, C#, C++
  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
