Plant Manager

Job Overview: Oversees the daily operations of a manufacturing plant to increase productivity, improve efficiency and adhere to all company policies and procedures. 

 

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Directs and coordinates daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal utilization of resources
  • Provides guidance, support and mentorship to enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals
  • Develops and implements processes to enhance productivity, efficiency and overall plant performance
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintains a safe working environment for all plant employees
  • Fosters continuous learning and professional development for all plant staff through training opportunities and educational materials
  • Monitors equipment and machinery to ensure that they are in good working order and takes necessary action to repair or replace when needed
  • Monitors operations, analyzes data and identifies areas of waste or inefficiency, and implements the necessary corrective actions and process improvements
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as quality control, supply chain, and maintenance, to optimize product quality and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Prior experience working in plant operations or a similar manufacturing environment is required
  • Possesses strong knowledge of all regulatory requirements for operating plants and ensuring compliance
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica, or similar system)
  • Proficient in conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Experience with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently, and adhering to safety protocols
  • Possesses strong communication, time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in using office software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, Google Docs, and PowerPoint

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer

Job Overview: Programs and operates CNC machines to produce high-quality products based on technical blueprints and design models.

 

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and interprets technical blueprints, design models and specifications
  • Sets up CNC machines and loads raw materials into the equipment
  • Utilizes computer modeling software to program machines and input the design specifications
  • Selects and loads the appropriate cutting tools based on the specific project requirements
  • Adjusts machine settings and cutting paths to achieve desired product specifications
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks and cleaning of the CNC machines
  • Troubleshoots and resolves any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
  • Conducts quality control tests during the production process
  • Trains new staff members on all machine operation procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
  • Possesses knowledge of computer modeling software
  • Possesses strong communication, time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects

Field Service Technician

Job Overview: Provides exceptional technical service and maintenance support to customers during field visits or dispatches.

 

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Manages all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance and testing tasks
  • Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines appropriate solutions
  • Produces detailed service reports and documents processes
  • Operates company vehicles in a safe manner and utilizes field automation systems
  • Adheres to all company field procedures and protocols
  • Collaborates with technical teams and shares information across the organization
  • Understands customer requirements and provides appropriate recommendations and briefings

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment

  • Possesses strong communication, customer-service, time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
