Production Supervisor Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees safety, training, and production in a rotating shift environment. They ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and customer needs while leading Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, particularly in Autonomous Maintenance (AM).

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
 
  • Prioritize safety, providing training and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Uphold cleanliness and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure team certifications and participation in safety activities.
  • Lead safety incident investigations.
  • Foster engagement and provide feedback for performance improvement.
  • Manage training for new hires and internal promotions.
  • Support team member growth and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure consistent quality and traceability.
  • Communicate customer expectations and ensure product standards.
  • Optimize processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee shift timecards and attendance.

Production Supervisor Requirements:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; would consider candidates with relevant experience over extrusion experience and bilingual.
  • Three or more years' experience in manufacturing or related field.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive production and continuous improvement.
  • Extrusion experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
  • TPM experience ideal but not required.
  • Ability to lead 20-30 direct reports effectively.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
