The SEO Specialist will head all search engine optimization and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will manage all SEO activities, such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy, to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all Google, Yahoo, and Bing SEM campaigns to maximize ROI.

SEO Specialist Job Responsibilities
  • The SEO Specialist will support the brand as a hands-on SEO practitioner, performing work that will increase Hunter’s SERPs and overall digital brand performance.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase the number of backlinks.
  • Manage and execute the implementation of SEO best practices.
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics using tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Bullhorn Automation.
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
  • Manage PPC campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.

SEO Specialist Job Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field.
  • 3+ years of proven SEO experience and primarily and sole responsibility
  • Proven growth of domain authority as a direct result of SEO efforts
  • Ability to drive results as an individual contributor working with cross-functional teams
  • Highly self-motivated with high attention to detail, compliance
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics, Bullhorn Automation).
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.

SEO Specialist Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in generating SEO reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
