Product Regulations Technician
Southfield, MI
Pay Rate: $22-24/HR

Product Regulations Technician will be reviewing, validating and providing data cleanup, as well as reviewing processes, procedures, and work instructions. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry, experience in SAP, knowledge of Global Harmonization Systems, and experience in SDS preparation and authoring.

Product Regulations Technician Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing, validating and providing data cleanup within SAP.
  • Reviewing processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Conduct data entry into logistics, quality and regulatory systems.
  • Authoring Safety Data Sheets.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations, laws, and safety protocols.

Product Regulations Technician Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Science or Technical field required; Major in Chemistry Preferred
  • Must have a scientific background with Chemistry strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate computer experience including alpha/numeric data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • SAP systems experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Global Harmonization Systems and classifications, as well as Safety Data Sheets preparation and authoring a plus
  •  Past experience in OSHA experience, SARA, MSPA, Whimas, California Prep 65, and trade secrets is also preferred
  • A high level of concentration and very good attention to details. High level of data security and high ethical standards are a must.
