Basic Responsibilities:

Job Overview: Conduct tests and experiments on various materials and substances in a laboratory environment.

 

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Collect and prepare samples and materials for testing Design
  • Design and conduct experiments on samples and materials according to standard operating procedures
  • Record observations during laboratory tests and interpret findings
  • Maintain all laboratory equipment and respective maintenance logs
  • Manage laboratory supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or related field
  • Valid lab technician license
  • Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Systems
  • Proficient with electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Comfortable working with and handling potentially dangerous materials and substances, including biohazards, flammable liquids, bacteria, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

  • Preparing test solutions, reagents and substances in preparation for tests
